Doki is about to hit 3000 likes on Facebook and to celebrate we’re having a cover photo competition!

The deadline for grand winner submissions is Sunday 27th May so get your covers in this week if you want that prize!
The number of banners we pick will be proportional to the number of submitted entries.
There will be one Grand Winner, who will receive a fabulous prize.

The technical criteria is a little different from usual due to Facebook hosting the winning images: (These are the most important)

• 851px x 315px
• .jpg (preferred) or .png
• Filesize should be reasonable, around 100KB to 150KB.

Why such specific settings? Because anything else will be automatically converted to these settings by Facebook and they do a shitty job of it.

The cover must not contain:

• Price or purchase information, such as “40% off” or “Download it at our website”
• Contact information, such as web address, email, mailing address or other information intended for your Page’s About section
• References to user interface elements, such as Like or Share, or any other Facebook site features
• Calls to action, such as “Get it now” or “Tell your friends”

Otherwise Facebook can remove the image and/or our entire Facebook page.

And here are the criteria for characters/shows:

• Character(s) preferably should be female.
• Banner must be SFW. No nudity/genitalia/hentai/etc.
• Character(s) should come from a show that Doki has done/is doing/plans to do.
• The banner should include the words “Doki Fansubs” somewhere on it.

• Submit by replying to this post, 1 link to an entry per reply.
• If you want to claim the prize, be sure to use your real email in the comment submission, so we can contact you.
• The Grand Winner will be chosen by Doki staff members.

Grand Winner’s Prize:

• A .is-my-waifu.com subdomain of your choosing, standard T&C apply. Contact Holo for more details.

The best covers are not only well designed, but “Doki Fansubs” also fits the banner- eg, it doesn’t stand out. Feel free to incorporate the Profile Picture into your design; if you do then post both the Cover and Profile Picture in the same comment.
