Well, I know a lot of you out there were probably wishing for something a little less out of the blue as a Christmas present, like the spontaneous catch up of various delayed shows. Unfortunately, without any TL to work on them, those things are outside of my power. However, this project was not.
This is a personal favourite of mine that I’ve had up my sleeve for a few months now. I thought, given the fact that most of the story is told in retrospect from one Christmas Eve, it was the perfect little present from me to you this Christmas.
It’s not Doki’s usual business (read: ecchi, noitaminA, moeblobs – though it does have some ecchi) in fact, it’s largely domanated by the theme of romance. I thought though, if you can’t watch something romancy and gooey at Christmas, when can you? (except maybe Valentines…)
I’m sure there’s plenty of you out there who aren’t spending your Christmas exactly the way you’d liked, but I can assure you that you’re not alone. There’s always a silver lining though. Well, unless you’re a homeless person, in which case you probably can’t see this post anyway!
Oh, it has 2 sub tracks. Complex and simple karaoke. The simple is for those of you who still can’t figure out why your PC is lagging my karaoke. The Complex is the default.

First release of the new season!
Hasegawa Kodaka has transferred schools, and he’s having a hard time making friends. It doesn’t help that his blond hair tends to make people think he’s a delinquent. One day, he runs into his bad-tempered solitary classmate Yozora while she’s talking animatedly to her imaginary friend Tomo. Realizing that neither of them have any actual friends, they decide that the best way to alter this situation is to form a club and start recruiting.
That is how “Rinjinbu”, The Neighbours’ Club, was formed, a club specifically designed for people who don’t have very many friends. As other lonely classmates slowly join their little club, they’ll try to learn how to build friendships through cooking together, playing games, and other group activities. But will this group of relationship-challenged misfits really be able to get along?
After watching this OVA, I can’t wait!

So, random release here. This one belonged to another group that various members of Doki were part of. That group is dead now, so we’ve updated the script, cleaned out the crap and brought everything up to Doki grade. We even did some re-encoding. Now it’s fit for release.
For those of you who don’t know what Denpa teki no Kanojo is, check out this page. A very short lived OVA, but one of the best I’ve seen. Pity it ended so abruptly.

Holo went to sleep and Kristen released this, so nobody made a post on Doki. I don’t think he will mind me posting since he has so many other anime to release.
Time Paladin Sakura is a 2 episodes OVA about lolified characters of the original Da Capo series. So there is Nemu, Kotori etc. The main focus is of course the lolified Sakura and her quests to save the world with her magical powers. The approach this time round is more on the action than on characters. As can be seen, this is a joint with our lovely friends at Chihiro. A joint means both group have expressed a common interest in a single show, and hence it can cut down on staff usage and unnecessary oversubbing.
Kuzu/Cloud/MitoMashiro took pains to translate this and I think the second and final episode should be ready sometime soon or in the near future, whichever is nearer.

Would I have known that this show had so many signs, I would have told Bisou to gtfo (at that time).
